I’m Malachi Ward, a designer and creative storyteller shaped by denim scraps, curated shoots, and coffee shop flyers. My roots are in storytelling, and fashion is my medium—after this, I won’t just follow the blueprint. I’ll be the one designing it.

From Milan to Manhattan, I’ve styled, marketed, designed, taught, and reimagined—building visual worlds rooted in culture, community, and a little bit of magic. Whether I’m directing a magazine shoot, sketching ideas over espresso, or bringing a brand’s vision to life in print or pixels, my work lives at the intersection of story and style.

Prague quadrennial

When I’m not designing, I’m traveling—absorbing and appreciating foreign cultures to inspire and inform my next project. I believe that creativity is deeply enriched by lived experience, and I seek out moments of cultural exchange, history, and everyday beauty wherever I go.

In the summer of 2025, I’ll be embarking on a "Venetian Empire" experience, exploring Italy (Rome, Venice, and Trieste), Slovenia, and Croatia. This journey will deepen my understanding of regional aesthetics, craftsmanship, and storytelling—fueling the evolution of my design practice with new textures, perspectives, and narratives.
